Get the Confidence When Riding and Working With a Horse

It takes a great quality time and being compatible
with your horse so he can fully trust you
and obey you.
Most people can easily learn principles and techniques of horse riding, if they are given proper instructions and dedicate enough time.  It’s how the mental state is handled that defines a good rider and a bad rider, and the most important state of mind a rider should possess is the art of confidence – the confidence to remain mounted on top of a horse, which can be achieved through proper training.

Confidence is mostly about the relationship between rider and a horse. Is the horse and rider compatible physically and mentally? There is always that one horse that you are comfortable with more than the rest. Riding is like finding the perfect partner to dance with. Experiences are also important. You will need a horse that has gone through training and also has gone with you to events or rides that you will be able to say you trust the animal and the animal trusts you.

Horses are able to perform because of their trust with their riders/trainers. This is because they have developed the confidence from the training you have provided. When they understand your request, they will deliver so accordingly with confidence. As for your part, you will know that your training techniques are working because of your horse’s willingness to perform.

Gain confidence when you have a horse that performs well and trusts you. A horse that is healthy and well trained is likely to deliver his best. Choose equine omeprazole with probiotics, AbPrazole Plus for optimum performance and health for your horse. For quality and affordable gastric ulcer treatments, choose Abler.

However, oftentimes, fear always gets in the way. The rider or even the horse will doubt each one’s ability to go about a training session. Sometimes, fear results from a particular negative incident, and this would definitely not yield fruitful results. There are different personalities of a horse as much as there is of a human. Some horses are more athletic than the others; there are also those that are highly sensitive and easily spooked.

Riding can be fun and more productive
if there is trust between rider and horse.
Personality problems with horses can easily be solved with consistent and effective training. But, there are times that one just cannot work well with the other, so what happens is that the rider gives up while the horse simply stands there. If your relationship with your horse does not work regardless of the effort, it’s just that you and that horse is not compatible. What I’ve observed is that some riders with the same situation are not even willing to give up their horse or find them a new home. It’s not like I’m suggesting that just because your horse doesn’t perform on your cue you simply need to throw him up. It’s just that the relationship is never working; your horse may not be happy with you either. Maybe it would be great to get on with a new relationship. Now it’s like talking about human love relationship – where if one relationship does not work out, there is no point in forcing it to work.

The thing with riding is that you need to train yourself and your horse. Train thoroughly so as to build a bond and trust between you and your horse. Spending more time with your horse during training is the best way to know more about him and build a wonderful relationship.
